Physiotherapist / Clinic Owner
Steven was born and raised in Chatham. Ever since he was young he knew he wanted to be a physiotherapist and eventually open up his own clinic one day. Steven completed his Bachelor of Human Kinetics degree at the University of Windsor and further pursued a Master of Physical Therapy degree at Western University. After two fulfilling years of clinical experience, Steven ventured out on his own and opened Peach Physiotherapy & Wellness Centre in August 2014.
Throughout his clinical experiences, Steven has shown an interest in the treatment of all injuries, ranging from acute sports injuries to chronic and postural related injuries. Since graduation, Steve has completed courses in acupuncture, the Mackenzie Method of assessment and treatment, post-concussion syndrome, and cervical spine techniques. In his spare time, Steven enjoys spending time with family and friends, running, travelling, and playing golf and hockey.
KATE (RANDALL) PEACH
Kate is a Registered Physiotherapist (PT) specializing in both Pediatrics and Pelvic Health Physiotherapy.
Kate’s love for Pediatrics began at Western University where she completed her Master of Science degree in Rehab Sciences. At Western, Kate’s research was focused on balance tests in children with cerebral palsy. After spending time with Pediatric PTs and the energetic and charismatic children, Kate knew she wanted to work as a Pediatric therapist and pursued her Physical Therapy degree at Queen’s University. Since graduating in 2014, Kate has been working with children and loves every minute of it!
Kate thrives on learning and has taken post-graduate courses in the following areas of pediatric rehabilitation: early motor development, neurodevelopmental treatment, orthopaedic management of cerebral palsy, Cuevas Medek Exercises, specialized adaptive equipment (eg: walkers, standers, wheelchairs), toe walking, and more!
In 2019, after finishing her maternity leave with her daughter, Kate completed specialized training in Pelvic Floor Rehabilitation and treats incontinence, pelvic pain and prolapse. Kate became passionate about this area of physio during her pregnancy when she sought out pre-natal pelvic floor physio. Pelvic Health physio can have a large impact on a person’s day-to-day functioning, but people are often unaware or too embarrassed about this part of their body to seek help. Kate’s goal is to educate and empower men and women to take control of their body!
When Kate’s not working, you can find her getting sweaty at Blairs’ Bootcamp, singing made-up songs with her daughter Isla, playing fetch with her goldendoodle Maizy, and enjoying quality time (or watching Netflix) with her husband Steve! Kate’s current favourite show: Life in Pieces!
Rose is originally from Mississauga and lived in London while completing her education at The University of Western Ontario. While there, she earned a Bachelor of Medical Sciences before obtaining a Masters of Physical Therapy. What drew Rose to a career in Physiotherapy is its focus on helping an individual to function at their highest and attain their goals. Her clinical interests include treatment of orthopaedic injuries, neurorehabilitation, and post-concussion syndrome treatment.
Outside of the clinic, Rose enjoys hiking and camping and has a keen interest in adventure sports. She also enjoys spending time with family and her two pet bunnies.
Brett was born and raised in Chatham. He knew physiotherapy was the career path for him after completing rehab for many sport-related injuries as a child. Brett graduated from Wilfrid Laurier University with an Honours Bachelor of Arts degree in Kinesiology and further pursued a Master of Science Physiotherapy degree at McMaster University. After working for over a year in the Blenheim area, Brett has decided to join the team here at Peach Physiotherapy.
With a variety of clinical experience, Brett has worked with patients in community clinics, acute care, stroke rehab, and pediatric facilities. He has shown an interest in the treatment of all injuries including acute and chronic orthopaedic conditions, concussions, neurological rehabilitation, and post-surgical interventions. Since graduation, Brett has completed courses in acupuncture, concussions, and is currently working through his orthopaedic manual level courses.
In his spare time, Brett enjoys playing volleyball, tennis, badminton, and golf. He also loves spending time with his family and friends.
Kelly attended the University of Western Ontario where she graduated with her degree in Kinesiology. She has over 13 years of clinical experience and specializes in exercise rehabilitation. Kelly has worked closely with people in all aspects of life including return to work programs, post-operative, and general fitness programs. Kelly recognizes the importance of patient-centred goals and strives to attain them through range of motion, strengthening, and proprioception exercises.
DR. MATT MCCABE
Dr. Matthew McCabe was also born and raised in Chatham. He completed his Bachelor of Science degree in Kinesiology at Wilfrid Laurier University before attending Logan College of Chiropractic in St. Louis, Missouri where he graduated with his Doctorate of Chiropractic degree. Dr. McCabe has been working at Peach Physiotherapy since February 2015.
Throughout his training and clinical experiences, Dr. McCabe not only took a great interest in patients’ injuries but also in those looking for optimal wellness. While he believes that it is crucial to seek appropriate care to treat spinal, joint and muscular pain, Dr. McCabe stresses the importance of taking a proactive approach for a healthier lifestyle. In his spare time, Dr. McCabe enjoys playing sports, exercising, and spending time with family and friends.
Mitch graduated with Academic Distinction from the OTA/PTA program at St. Clair College in April of 2015. After many different placement opportunities, Mitch found himself drawn to the private clinic atmosphere. He has completed courses in K-Taping Pro and Soft Tissue Release, which are both very useful in the rehabilitation process. With over 3 years of clinical experience, Mitch has a vast knowledge of injuries/ orthopaedic conditions and how to treat them. He strives to complete patient-centred goals in all aspects of the rehabilitation process.
Mitch spends his leisure time in the gym or on the golf course and both have given him an excellent knowledge of functional training techniques. He is passionate about learning new treatment techniques and delivering exceptional care to all patients.
Tracey Jongbloed is a graduate of St. Clair College. Since graduation, Tracey has worked in the administrative and support field. She has particularly enjoyed this work in the physiotherapy sector since 1999.
