Job Posting: Physiotherapy Assistant/Kinesiologist

Peach Physiotherapy & Wellness Centre is looking for a full-time, enthusiastic physiotherapy assistant/kinesiologist to join our multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities & Duties:

• Works under the supervision of a Physiotherapist to facilitate meeting defined treatment goals
• Implements therapeutic exercise programs with patients and ensures constant communication between the patient’s care team through active discussion and accurate charting
• Operates and maintains modality equipment including IFC, Ultrasound, TENS, Laser
• Maintains a safe an efficient treatment environment
• Assists in the day-to-day clinic activities (eg, answering phone calls, booking appointments)

Qualifications & Skills:

• PTA/OTA diploma from an accredited college program or Kinesiology degree
• Knowledge of various physiotherapy treatment techniques, including exercise prescription and modalities
• Respectful and sensitive towards patients
• Energetic and friendly approach to therapy
• Able to take initiative to work both independently and in a team setting
• Responsible, professional, and punctual
