Kate Peach grew up in the Niagara Region and explored a variety of cities along the 401 before deciding that Chatham was the perfect place to build a home, grow a career and raise a family. After earning a Bachelor’s Degree in Human Kinetics at the University of Guelph and a Master of Science degree at Western University, Kate realized that as much as she loved research about the human body, she enjoyed interacting with others even more. To combine these two passions, Kate earned a second Master of Science degree, this time in Physical Therapy.
Kate started her Physiotherapy career in Paediatrics and continues to find meaningful work helping children of all abilities reach their full potential. In 2017, she started a second job – this one called “motherhood”. Kate developed a keen interest in motherhood and all that it entails – including prenatal and postpartum care.
Kate joined Peach Physiotherapy in 2018 and has since expanded her practice to Pelvic Health. Today, in addition to supporting children in the community through paediatric care, Kate now also empowers men and women to be in control of their bodies and stay active through pelvic health physiotherapy.
Kate thrives on learning and has taken courses in the following Pelvic Health areas: prenatal and postpartum physiotherapy, diastasis recti, incontinence and pelvic organ prolapse, and pelvic pain. She has also taken courses in the following Paediatric areas: early motor development, neuro developmental treatment, orthopedic management of cerebral palsy, Cuevas Medek Exercises, specialized adaptive equipment (eg: walkers, standers, wheelchairs), toe walking, and more!
Kate is a physiotherapist and mom, and also a Blair’s Bootcamp enthusiast, Zee’s bistro fanatic, and Kent-County corn lover.
