Brett was born and raised in Chatham. Brett knew he wanted to be a Physiotherapist since he was a child. He spent countless hours rehabilitating various sports-related injuries and was intrigued by the human body. Brett decided to pursue a Bachelor of Arts degree in Kinesiology at Wilfred Laurier and further went on to complete a Master of Science in Physiotherapy degree at McMaster University. Brett joined Peach Physiotherapy in 2017.
In addition to Brett’s experience in a private clinic, he has also worked with patients in community clinics, acute care, stroke rehab, and paediatric facilities. He has a keen interest in treating all injuries, including acute and chronic orthopaedic conditions, concussions, neurological and vestibular rehabilitation and post-surgical rehabilitation.
Brett has completed additional graduate training in the areas of acupuncture, concussion, vestibular rehab, shoulder rehab for rotator cuff and other related injuries. He is a certified GLA:D Canada Instructor, allowing him to help individuals with osteoarthritis improve their quality of life. Brett has also completed Level 2 & 3 Orthopaedic Manual Therapy courses.
In his spare time, Brett enjoys playing volleyball, tennis, badminton, and golf. He also loves spending time with his family, friends and his dog, Neville Longbottom. If Brett’s not at home, at the court, or on the golf course, you can find him at the gym – practicing what he preaches!
